Joe worked part time throughout Marine corps career for AAMCO. Attended and received a bachelor’s degree in business from University of Southern California San Diego. ASE certified as well as countless certifications from AAMCO, Transtar, Natpro, Napa, MAC. Was also multi time gold medalist member of the United States Parachute team.
James Benes
While he is the youngest member of our team don’t let that fool you. Born and raised here in Montana locally, James has been working on and fixing things on his family ranch sense he could hold a wrench. This helped catapult him to where he is today. He is currently certified to do A/C systems and working on getting his ASE certificates.
Jan Schiling
Jan started off in Southern California after attending college to get certified in Automotive repair. Because he was at the top of his class, Jan was placed by the school at his first shop building transmission. Jan has continued his education throughout his career, always staying on top of what’s new by taking all the classes he can find. Jan enjoys building everything from ranch trucks and complicated race transmissions to super heavy-duty tractor pull transmission.

I cant say enough great things about this shop! We were home on an emergency leave situation thought we were gonna lose a transmission so pulled into the first place we came up on! Little did we know the first thing he would say is it isnt your transmisison. He pushed us to the front of the workload and worked night and day to have us back out on time, put it to the test 2200 miles later we were in our driveway good as new! Sometimes it is good to have things break when you are home! We have since moved that vehicle to Hawaii and put about 3000 more miles on it and not a single issue!
Thank you very much for all you did when the transmission went out on our car last month - the car worked fine getting us back on Friday the 24th. You really went out of your way to help us find a place to stay, taking us there (in 2 Trips!) and driving the finished car to us at the hotel! We'll always think of you both and Montana as a "good" place to break down and how kind you were.
I was traveling thru Billings this summer and my car broke down with me and my 2 kids. It wouldn't move and the first place I called quoted me for a new transmission... scary! Then I talked to Dan at AA and he had my car towed in and check out and I DIDN"T need a new transmission!
