I cant say enough great things about this shop! We were home on an emergency leave situation thought we were gonna lose a transmissi​on so pulled into the first place we came up on! Little did we know the first thing he would say is it isnt your transmisis​on. He pushed us to the front of the workload and worked night and day to have us back out on time, put it to the test 2200 miles later we were in our driveway good as new! Sometimes it is good to have things break when you are home! We have since moved that vehicle to Hawaii and put about 3000 more miles on it and not a single issue!

I was traveling thru Billings this summer and my car broke down with me and my 2 kids. It wouldn't move and the first place I called quoted me for a new transmission... scary! Then I talked to Dan at AA and he had my car towed in and check out and I DIDN"T need a new transmission! I wasn't planning on car repairs but at least I found a good mechanic and it didn't cost me a fortune. Thanks to Dan you your team! Hope I never break down in Billings again but if I do I know where to go!!!! :-)

I was told by a local dealership that my car was a 6 cylinder and my car was going to require a new belt with in the 100,000 mile range. I recently went into AA Transmission to inquire about some auto repairs and maintenance. I had Dan check my car out for me to find out that my car was a 4 cylinder and required a chain not a belt. I then called the dealership and found out they just sold to another dealership and they were unable to find my paperwork on the car. I have been getting my oil changes done there for the last year as well and was trying to keep up on the maintenance I would of paid so much out of my pocket if I haven't had Dan check my car out. So much thanks to AA Transmission, I will now put my car in the hands of Dan. Thanks so much.

To the Billings Area, I have a 1982 GMC k1500 that needed a lot of work, but first let me tell you a little about myself. I am a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot for the United States Army, that has been flying MEDEVAC in South Korea for the past two years. I am currently assigned at Fort Rucker Alabama for school, then onto Fort Wainwright Alaska for my next Duty Station. I was born and raised in the Billings area and all of my family still live in the area. This journey started with a transmission, that would eventually lead to a complete engine swap. I approached Dan to replace the transmission on my truck while on Christmas leave in 2012. I had thought about doing the engine swap all at once, but previous experiences with repair shops had kept me weary, although I had only heard great things about Dan and his work. Everything went great; my truck finally had an overdrive. Next came the Engine, approached Dan again while on my next leave period during the summer of 2013. I requested a brand new Chevy 350 from GM performance with an electronic fuel injection system. My intent with my truck was to make it a reliable daily driver with everything being ready by the time I got home in April of 2014. Dan and Josh both worked tirelessly to make this a reality, and I believe they did. Dan fielded all of my weekly questions via Skype, and was received my various family members as they toured to progress and as they took lots of pictures with professionalism and patients. By the time I had arrived and prepared for the journey south to Alabama Dan and Josh answered all of my questions, made the last minute adjustments (which included a new set of gears of the differentials). Both of them made every effort to make sure that I was satisfied with the job. Despite some issues as I traveled south they were always there for my questions. Even today, I can call if I have issues. I suppose I am writing all this so I can attest to the professionalism and courtesy of Dan and his crew at AA Transmission. I felt the even though I was overseas I could trust that Dan would do a great job. I know that I have any issue I can call Dan and he will take care of business. I will take my vehicle to Dan no matter the issue. Thanks Dan, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your hard work. Thanks for being one of the ONLY trustworthy shops that I have found.
